About Sam.
Sam Raptors is an avid nature lover, self-confessed dinosaur nut, experienced reptile keeper, and zookeeping student — currently based in Melbourne, Australia. Graduating as a painting major in 2006, Sam has been painting professionally for the better part of two decades, developing his signature style; the vibrant, expressive animal studies for which he’s now known. Though animals are clearly his passion, Sam illustrates everything from storyboards, logos, and posters to dynamic portraits and nature studies and thrives on creating specialist concepts for his clients.
